How to file with The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd.

We haven't confirmed this bank's EDF procedure yet.

How to submit

  • Home branch uncertain

No services-EDF channel or FEMA 23(R) policy found on the Policies page (4 Oct 2026). Forex work runs through designated AD branches under the Forex Planning & Operations Department (FPOD), Corporate HQ, Srinagar, so the EDF probably has to go to an AD (forex-designated) branch.

Recommendations

  • Check that your home branch is an AD (forex) branch. If not, ask which AD branch will take your monthly EDF.
  • Crediting to an EEFC account avoids the inward commission, but you must first confirm the bank will open EEFC for an individual.
  • Ask your branch or relationship manager how it wants the monthly EDF for services. Most banks take it at the branch or through the relationship manager; business customers may be able to use a trade portal.
  • Ask whether it accepts PAN when you don't have an IEC.
  • Take the printed EDF, the covering letter, copies of the invoices and any FIRA / e-FIRC.
  • Your bank must publish its export policy on its website (Reg. 19). Look for "export" or "FEMA" policy documents there.
