How to file with NSDL Payments Bank Ltd.
We haven't confirmed this bank's EDF procedure yet.
This bank may not be able to take export proceeds or EDFs
Our research indicates NSDL Payments Bank Ltd. is not an Authorised Dealer Category-I bank. Export
proceeds and the EDF need an AD Category-I bank. Talk to your bank, or receive export payments
into an AD Category-I bank account.
- Ask your branch or relationship manager how it wants the monthly EDF for services. Most banks take it at the branch or through the relationship manager; business customers may be able to use a trade portal.
- Ask whether it accepts PAN when you don't have an IEC.
- Take the printed EDF, the covering letter, copies of the invoices and any FIRA / e-FIRC.
- Your bank must publish its export policy on its website (Reg. 19). Look for "export" or "FEMA" policy documents there.
