Recommendations

  • Submit the monthly EDF through your branch; ask for written acknowledgement and an EDPMS reference within 5 working days.
  • Make sure the inward remittance is classed as a business/export remittance with the right purpose code, not a personal one.
  • TMB's published policy (v1.0, approved 29 Sep 2026) still says realisation within 15 months. The 22 Sep 2026 amendment cut this to 9 months for services, so plan to realise within 9 months.
  • If the branch delays or refuses, use the escalation matrix in the policy (Branch Head, Regional Head, DVP-FPC, VP-IBD).
