Recommendations
- Expect to submit a disposal instruction plus FEMA declaration for each services-export inward above USD 5,000.
- Ask your branch which B Category (forex) branch it routes to, and whether it accepts the monthly EDF by email or only at the counter.
- Union Bank's EEFC chapter (2014 handbook) lists individual professionals as eligible, so you can ask for an EEFC account if you want to retain foreign currency.
- For PA/platform payouts that arrive as domestic INR credits (Wise/Skydo/Razorpay/Payoneer/PayPal), keep the provider's FIRA/e-FIRC and ask the bank how it wants them mapped to the EDF; no bank in this group publishes a rule for this.
