Recommendations

  • YES BANK's Reg. 19 export policy could not be retrieved (site is script-rendered and blocked scripted access). Ask your branch/RM for the FEMA 23(R) export policy and the services-EDF channel before your first filing deadline (30 Nov 2026 for October invoices).
  • Use YES BANK's Standing Instruction form for inward remittances to fix your purpose code once, so foreign credits are not held for a disposal instruction.
  • File one consolidated EDF per month, within 30 days after the end of the invoice month. For non-software services you may file on or before the date payment is received.
  • When a foreign credit arrives, give a disposal instruction with the exact purpose code (P0802 software consultancy/implementation, P0807 off-site software exports, P1006 business/management consultancy, P1007 advertising, P1014 engineering, P1099 other services). Do not let it be booked as a personal/family remittance (P13xx).
  • For INR credits from a PA-CB (Wise Business, Skydo, Razorpay MoneySaver, Xflow, BriskPe, etc.) keep the provider's FIRA/e-FIRC and attach it with the invoice when the bank asks for realisation evidence.
  • Ask your branch or relationship manager how it wants the monthly EDF for services. Most banks take it at the branch or through the relationship manager; business customers may be able to use a trade portal.
  • Ask whether it accepts PAN when you don't have an IEC.
  • Take the printed EDF, the covering letter, copies of the invoices and any FIRA / e-FIRC.
  • Your bank must publish its export policy on its website (Reg. 19). Look for "export" or "FEMA" policy documents there.
